Why Do Stupid People Go On Game Shows?

i don't understand it, i would never go on one as i know i won't know the answers, but some people do and they never buzz in, or they do and then say i don't know.... whhhhhhyyyyyyyy???

I agree what Clover says, and the same regular people have been seen on so many TV shows, like Coach Trip, come dine with me, 3/4 in a bed, and one couple were on Good Morning, bragging that they had been on 22 shows, and I remember him being on embarrassing body's about his testicles. What a ***.

I love the Chase, but I hate how the chasers can be so boastful. They need bringing down a peg or two in my opinion!

It's part of the act, Cupid. That's why they have names like The Beast, the Governess.
I've seen Anne as a contestant on another show and she was very mild in manner, although competitive.

I know it's part of the act. But the Beast winds me up most. He very rarely gets an answer wrong. Perhaps I'm just jealous. I'm nowhere near as clever.

I think it depends on which game shows you go on, or how confident you are, I can answer a good bat against any chaser however have no chance on university challenge. however some folk as said above just want recognition.

I always cringe when some one one on the Lotto program starts his or her answer with.....

" Well, Dale, Geography ( or anything else ) isn't my specialist subject " !

I suspect that they reply to an advert in some Tabloid or other, with a title like " Thick people needed for prime time TV quiz"

I agree ummmm. I was on a quiz when I was at college. Completely mucked it up. Mind just went totally blank. Knew the answers too.
