Miami Vice

I just watched the Miami Vice episode 'Death & The Lady', the one where the filmmaker actually kills an actress during the making of the film.  At the end of the episode, when the filmmaker is acquitted, Crockett drives around Miami while a song plays .... can anyone tell me the name of the artist and the track title please .... for some reason, the music played during the episodes isn't listed in the credits ... the track seems to repeat lyrics about 'waiting on the edge of town' ?

The Band was called 'The Truth' - the song is 'The Edge of Town'.
