It seems Ed is worried that his core vote can't be bothered to register!

All electoral parties should be worried to some extent if some people either can't be bothered to register or can't be bothered to vote.
I hate the term new labour. It just means old tory. Look at Blair, he was , still is, 100% tory through and through. He fooled a lot of people though. He certainly fooled me. Never again.
Question Author
you mean you you won't go for Tory impersonators only real ones, janbee?
He fooled me too janbee, but I'll still vote Labour over the posh tory boys any day !
Layba ........lol, brilliant (Did you think that up all by yourself?)
I see the BBC failed to address the voting fraud which apparently is widespread amongst some ethnic minorities, (the core Labour vote).

/// ‘There are strongly held views, based in particular on reported first-hand experience by some campaigners and elected representatives in particular, that electoral fraud is more likely to be committed by or in support of candidates standing for election in areas which are largely or predominately populated by some South Asian communities, specifically those with roots in parts of Pakistan or Bangladesh.’ ///

Hold on, you say students are Labour's core voters, and then AOG comes along and says ethnic minorities are Labour's core voters - one of you must be wrong.

Turns out, both of you are wrong. It os more to do with geography.

Labour's core voter, lives in the the Midlands and North. Is more likely to live in a town or city. More women Labour. Than vote Conservative or LibDem. Labour voters can be aged anywhere between 18 and 65 with no age group showing a consistant peak. However, Labour does less well with the over 65s.
Running Scared, first recorded by Roy Orbison in the 1960s.
Re Released by David Cameroooooon in 2015,
It was no councidence that Miliband made this speech at Sheffield University. Nick Clegg's constitueny is in Sheffield.

It is a direct attempt to oust Clegg because Labour know that the student vote win Sheffield will be his weakness.

If you loathe Clegg as much as you say, you should support Ed's rallying cry.
//I'll still vote Labour over the posh tory boys any day ! //

Oh my! Great reason to vote Labour! ;o)
^Perhaps it's time they introduced half-votes for h̶a̶l̶ some people.
Clegg's seat used to be Tory-held.
Question Author
Gromit, correct, I loath Clegg more than Ed so I agree it would be great to boot him out of sheffield.
BlackadderV

Sheffield Hallam used to Be Tory first, Labour 2nd, until 1979 when the LibDems took 2nd. From 1997, the LibDems took the seat. There have been several boundary changes over the years.
It would be a spectaculr result if Labour did win, but I think it is highly unlikely.
Gromit

/// Labour's core voter, lives in the the Midlands and North. ///

Apart from London doesn't the North and the Midlands have a vast amount of ethnic minorities?

So like I said ethnic minorities are Labour's core voters
BlackadderV

/// Clegg's seat used to be Tory-held. ///

Would you care to rephrase that? :0)
AOG, The clue is in the name 'ethnic MINORITY" .

Core voter means the MAJORITY of a party's votes come from that group. Ethnic minorites are 12% of the population. So Labour get 2/3 of that 12%.

Not its Core vote.
