OK they are not everybody's cup of tea and we all know they are not real (before some idiot says it) but I did used to enjoy watching them. However tonight's Eastenders was beyond ridiculous and maybe it is time to stop. The Ronnie/Roxy/Carl story tonight was unbelieveable and there are so many newcomers in there now I don't like any of them!

don't watch it but i still watch emmerdale some times, but lately it's gone potty with its storylines, perhaps that's the point, and they should get warnings for how many interrelationships they have, more inbred than a backwoods family.

Well grumpy, Corrie's Peter Baldwin (who played Mavis's Derek Wilton) is 80 so i can understand that, but I know some women on here like Peter Barlow.

I stopped watching them about 6 or so years ago pips, can honestly say I don't miss them!

The fire scene finished emmerdale for me last week. Megan trapped inside, fire crew couldn't reach her, roof caves in and fireman injured so they pull the rest of the crew out because it's too dangerous, so in goes Declan with no breathing apparatus, moves the debris and just carries her out.

Pips - I moan about all the soaps but still enjoy them, so as long as you do too, keep watching, if others decide not to that's their decision.
