why do they put Rita Tanner in such awful wigs ? surely they could get her a few decent ones to wear, is she bald ? I feel sorry for her in the ones they provide, especially in last night's episode.

GailPuffyHair.jpgrita_sullivan.jpgOne thing you can be sure of in Coronation Street, Gail Platt has always been noted for having a very full head of hair! It's definitely as much of a trademark for Gail as Deirdre's glasses are for her! I've been noticing lately, though, her short 'do is becoming puffy. Very puffy. In fact, I wonder if it's soon going to morph to Rita-Sullivan-proportions! All she needs to do is lift the fringe off her forehead and dye it red! Barbara Knox wears a wig and I'm pretty sure Helen Worth's hair is all her own but the stylists are going a bit over the top with the big, round rollers and drying brushes, methinks!

I can usually spot a wig, and they say it's a wig, not that I'm bothered, but there is never a hair in a different place.
