Is BBC2 HD available on Freeview? If so, what channel?

BBC Two HD can be found on these channels:
Freesat HD: 109, Freeview HD/YouView: 102, Sky HD: 142, Virgin Media: 187: BT Vision+: 852
I don't think there is a BBC2 HD channel as such. They do show many of the programs on the BBC HD channel though

WyeDyed - BBC HD was officially changed to BBC2 HD in March (i think it was)
It is new, as of a couple of months ago, though. it was just BBC HD before that.

Thanks guys. As my TV calls itself HD ready I assumed it could receive HD channels without an extra box.
Haven't had a HD box since last September. Must have missed that.

No, HD ready means it's ready to receive HD if you plug a HD receiver into it.
You need a Freeview HD tuner in your TV, or a Freeview HD "box", to get HD channels.

Just having a HD ready TV does not automatically give you HD, you have to FEED it a HD signal.
To be honest I could not tell the difference - except on my bill
