if it's the one shown below for Corsodyl then its Frances Albery. She was part of the Hunter mini series. She was also part of Lewis in which she played the role of Jo Gilchrist.

I think the one the OP is referring to is the Corsodyl 'Ignore' ad - the one where she spits blood into the sink. I don`t know who the actress is but that is the version that is showing on TV at the moment.
