Just watched the Antiques Roadshow from National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, obviously filmed in the Summer. Wondered if you were there, lots of art work and a good programme.
I wasn't, Ann, my eldest sis was there with an antique clock. She is off in France so don't know if they saw the programme tonight.
The Tukes were rather nice and so was that Penryn cup.......I thought that a Stanhope Forbes may surface.....are they showing from Falmouth next week as well?
it was filmed on one of my hospital visit days and i was going to pop in and see a friend on the way back (go for a coffee and chat in one of the cafes) but when we saw the crowds decided we would not get parked so gave up.
thanks DT i have been in there. i did a course at tremough as a mature student and one of the young guys worked in there. some of us went there one day - just to make sure he was doing everything properly you understand.

Don't know DT, I don't get the TV guide until mid week.
Loved the picture of the old lady ...........
Got the values totally wrong as we played along with the valuations using the red button - result at end judged Hubby and me "Complete novices!"
Part 2 is this coming Sunday, Ann.....includes a rare Hepworth.
Will be looking for my sister who took in a clock that she has that a horologist went bananas over here in Truro, saying that it was worth 8 to 10k - she had her doubts and the AR person valued it a much lower figure of 1.5 to 2 I believe; she was much more convinced by that and still it's not a bad gift from the m-i-l who has now passed away.
Thanks DT - I will watch out for your sister and her clock in the programme next Sunday. I always watch it anyway, its an excellent programme. Many thanks.
