Did anyone else recognise the actress in Just Henry, the one that was mother to the Jefferies kid?

It was a very transparent drama and I spent the first half hour thinking how old barbara Flynn looked and how much Sheila Hancock looked like my late mother-in-law. Hancock's accent was quite dodgy too.

It was written by the same man who wrote Goodnight Mr Tom, but I personally thought Mr Tom was miles better.

She played the poor girl in the mini series of South Riding I think.

It was very obvious what the outcome was. It was ok, but not a drama I`d want to watch again.

I expect Sheila Hancock took dialect lessons from John Thaw - his accent in Mr Tom was worse than dodgy.
