Is anyone else going to watch the programme “”Dynamo: Magician Impossible” tonight on channel Watch (Sky Channel 109, Virgin Media 124)? I thought I’d record it on Sky + to see what it’s like, looked entertaining from the trailers I’ve seen. I'm not really into magicians per se so will be interested to see if there's anything different about this one.

I watched it last night and it was very good. makes you wonder how he does it. I just hope it doesnt include camara tricks or 'stooges'. If that is the case then I'm not interested.
Dave I agree with you, I hope it was camera/digital influenced as it was very very clever and refreshing to see. However I did actually see how he did one trick, just caught it on camera and just like the usual magician tricks that are done but still very clever as are all sleight of hand tricks. Wish I could do some lol.
Which one was that daisy?
He did seem very good but i never know whether to trust them on tv as you say with the possiblity of stooges & tricks.

Yes daisy spill - which one did you spot?
Can't quite recall the actual one but it was one with a coin. He took the coin off a girl and put it into a glass (or bottle) I think it was and it came out crumpled or bent. I actually saw him hold the coin she gave him but drop another (the bent or crumpled one) from the palm of his hand into the glass and pocket the original coin. The usual sleight of hand that most magicians do. The other tricks were great though and you wonder if there weren't any stooges or helpers how he did those.
Don't have P2V, so no. But I am always sceptical of a programme put together from 'magic' clips from the street. It's not always clear that the gasps of wonderment really matches what I'm seeing. But if it's entertaining then perhaps it's not such a problem.
This one was clever Old Geezer especially as it was done in close proximity to people, not at a distance, but as usual unless you're there in real life with a chance to see it for yourself, film and video with enhancement can always happen. Have a look on U tube Steven Frayne (I hope that's right) street magician and see what you think.
