Just noticed in Radio Times that C4 have purchased the American remake of this top-notch Danish crime drama. No indication when it will be shown. If it is like most remakes it will not be as good as the original. I wonder how it has been done as most US stuff is in 13 week chunks.

They have a great deal to live up to........
I can't remember the last time I was so enthralled by a programme like that.

I'll probably give it a whirl, but it will suffer both from comparison and because I know how it ends....

I agree, it has a lot to live up to. According to RT the basic plot is the same but possibly with a different ending.
