Whilst I don't think they are paid for per se, I think they form part of the contract of what is 'expected' for the monies paid to the clubs.....which is why he keeps getting carpeted for NOT talking to the BBC.
AF only likes talking to those who agree with his views ! I just switch off whenever I see him on the Box as I have better things to watch and listen to.
well said redman.....
I think that due to changes in contractual issues he will have to pay if he doesn't speak to the BBC soon
I can't wait for him to as I will hang on to the words of wisdom of the most successful club manager ever

If it wasn't for his childish petulance, would anyone remember the allegations that BBC Current Affairs (nothing to do with BBC Sport) made against his son? I wish he'd just grow up.

I also wish that the BBC would grow a pair, and replace their interviews with Mike Phelan with a simple statement informing viewers that Alex Ferguson continues to refuse to fulfil his obligation to be interviewed by Premier League rights holders.
I can,t stand the gum chewing arrogant b@st@rd that is Alex Ferguson, but he must be a good manager considering how long he has had the job and the successes of his team.Love to see him lose though cocky sod !!!!!
It’s not only Fergie that’s not talking to the BBC. Big Sam and Harry Redknapp don’t talk to the BBC either.
Fergie has valid reasons as to why he doesn’t talk to the BBC as they lied about him and his son.

Why should anyone be made to speak to someone like the BBC. Stuff em scrap the tv licence make it pay to view and see how many want to pay to watch it.
Agree with you there keepontrucking.I think most people are sick of paying BBC for a service they neither want nor use.I can,t remember the last time I watched anything on BBC but I still have to pay them my licence fee.
Interesting note: the most watched sports programme on television in 2010 was er... England v Germany on the BBC. Only the X Factor result and that live episode of Eastenders got more viewers.
Most people want the BBC. Most people use the BBC. Most people realise what startlingly good value it is - Sky costs a fortune in comparison. ITV is skint, can you imagine how quickly and dramatically quality TV in this country would implode if the BBC started competing for advertising revenue?

See wanney whats his name has given an interview to the bbc camera What did he say again ,could not make him out
Interesting note, Tv viewing figures are based on BARB

Broadcaster's Audience Research Board - based on data gathered from just over 5000 homes. ..
All the rubbish before and after a game is banal, patronising rubbish. Whats the big deal about interviewing managers? They are are asked formulaic questions and give formulaic answers.

Do you really need a panel of "experts" telling you what you saw? Do you need a biased, in game, analyst tell you what you can see in front of your eyes? The answer is no. Sky in particular just insult thier viewers. If you watch a game in a pub how many people listen to the comments or try to answer none.

I personaly, turn on at kick off, change channel at half time, turn back on 15 minutes later, turn off at full time. Iam so sick at the obvious bias in commentary, I sometimes turn the sound off. Why can't they have a channel that just has the crowd sound and no commentary, then you can make your own mind up.
