Alan Sugar has stepped down as boss of Amstrad! Does this mean the end of The Apprentice?! By the way, Lee "Yeah man f****** wicked" McQueen, called in sick on his FIRST DAY!

Oh Nat I hope not, best think on TV! He won't last long then if he phoned in sick! Should have had Clare, mind you AS has probably given her a job anyway.

Claire's working for Karren Brady who mentioned she'd offer her a job in the interview stages.
I would MUCH rather work for her than AS!

No. The fifth series of The Apprentice is due for filming later this year, to be shown in the spring of 2009.

If I was a producer of the Apprentice I would hire a new big shot for the next series - fresh blood, new energy.
Alan Sugar wont go away from TV now he's had a taste so I imagine he'll pop up al the time, even try his hand at presenting I predict, make his shows. I really don't like the guy.

I know AS runs a multitude of companies, so the fact that he is leaving Amstrad won't affect his status as a TV star, hirer and firer, grumpy but charistmatic Sid James look-alike, and all round star guy.
