Every since i can remember my husband has had a constant runny nose. When we lived in South Africa it was not so bad, but since we have been in the uk, his nose is always streaming, he also wheezes, when he went to the doc they said he might have asthma, he now has a pump which he has to take now and then when he is wheezing. Has anyone got any ideas what else he might have, or any ideas to stop a constant streaming nose?

He should try an antihistimine like Zirtec (available from Boots and other chemists) you take one a day, it's worth a try to see if this stops, it sounds like something is irritating his mucus membrane similar to hayfever, could be dust, or other things in the air generally.
A constant running nose is usually Rhinitus. He may have blocked or infected sinuses also.

he has tried all the hayfever tablets and mostly everything u can buy in store, it helps for about an hour and then it is all back again most probably with vengence.
As I said previously it is probably ALLERGIC RHINITUS
How do I know? Because I suffered from it and know the symptons.

What is the solution? Try to find what you are allergic to and then avoid it. Could be anything, cats, dust mites, washing powders, etc.

Mine was sheets and hankies washed in BIOLOGICAL washing powder which irritated my nose.
