Stuck on the last 3 - 3 down How from this... hopes which dive/and fears which soar (Browning T?H?-B?H?; 21 down Investigating inspector encountered in Passage to the North ?L?E?N - only one I can think of is ALLEYN (Roderick/Ngaio Marsh) but dont get the connection and 29 across Some of Blake's are more sophisticated than others S?N?S - looks as if it is SONGS but again I dont get it - can anyone point me in the right direction please!

Passage(way) = ALLEY + North = N
passage = ALLEY
north = N

Thank you Bibblebub and Captain 2 - am I being equally thick in relation to Blake(29 across)?
As DaisyNonna said, Blake wrote Songs of Innocence and Songs Of Experience so the latter could be considered more sophisticated than the former.

I was just midway through typing that bibble - and to add 'experienced' is a given synonymn for 'sophisticated'
