I have just acquired a new Walkman and love it as I can hear with the earphones right into my ears and volume up high.

Jon Bennett plays Easy Listening Music on Sat and Sund night Radio Ulster - I would like to listen to ELM every night before going to bed but need advice as to channels to tune into - thanks

"...with the earphones right into my ears and volume up high."

Careful - if it's too high that could damage your hearing in the long term.

Sorry, I know very little about ELM.
Too late, JJ is 'Corned beef' already.
I thought it was Mutt and Jeff?
...or Mutton Jeff.
JJ's words.
I know that the Dutch have a disease for it.
That's about it.
Smooth radio
Gold FM is a good station for singing along to, as is Planet Rock.

E L M - Easy Listening Music - yes I am corned beef but do have a semblance of hearing - and can hear that wee bit more with the earphones - the earphones are that well stuffed in they are nearly into my throat. that makes sense but true.

None of yous came up with any great channels - but thanks for any input.

that's a good link OG - will hold on to that but I'm being awkward here - am looking for easy listening music at night when I am in beddybyes. You know the 60s 70s etc. Not the 80s or the rest.
I'll say it again, Gold FM is a good station for singing along to, as is Planet Rock.

I can't help with that bit, JJ. :-(

We listen to them through the television.
Have you got a laptop, JJ?
if you like 60's music jj then sounds of the sixties on radio 2 Saturday morning - around 8.30 I think.

I would like to find the Gold -anybody with patience out there thanks. I will twiddle away here.

yes Tilly saw that link which is good - now I can get my radio through TV so if I can find it on TV I maybe could hear it and see what is on and get it coming in on the radio - hope that makes sense.
