Helly.......she still has a mountain to climb.
There is no doubt that she did the ghastly deed. But now she and her brief has the unenviable job of convincing the Jury that she did it in self defence and/or defence of Henwee.
One way that could help her is that he does something horrid to little Henwee, and there will be witnesses. We know that he has come pretty close on a few occasions in the past. He is obviously mentally unstable.
That would help her case immensely.
My gut reaction is that she will get off, one way or another, although the scriptwriters will continue to give us heart palpitations for some time to come yet.

I'm not sure if any evidence from those two would prove useful to Helen at all. Lots of people were aware of Robs other, demonic side but did nothing about it at the time, or after.
I suppose you could call Shula to give evidence of Robs attack on the hunt Sab, but again, what would what that prove ?

The Polish guy saw him blocking the culvert during the flood then suddenly disappeared back to Poland, Charlie knows that he didn't leave the diary entirety of his own free will, he had been falsifying the books. It all gives greater weight to his devious lying character. Is Ursula aware of his lying or she complicit? I know she is defending him now but was she involved from when she arrived?
The Polish guy that Ian spoke of was Pawel, who was one of the fruit pickers, who had a shag with mAdam in 2012 whortly before he then went back home.

Had a thought after last night's episode. If Rob is going to drive up to see baby and he's not well, he might have an accident. Particularly if he gets there and Helen refuses him access. He will be furious. I'm so pleased she has had the baby's birth registered. She is taking back a tiny bit of control.
