I've a feeling Roy will get back with Elizabeth - Hayley's been away too long! Think that Route B will be turned down, you simply can't have the Archers without Archers at Brookfield.
I tend to agree with Jourdain. Ruth and David are top characters.I actually felt momentarily sorry for Elizabeth when she cried this week, still think she's treated Roy,who clearly is in love with her, abominably.

I'm having less and less sympathy for Roy as the weeks go by.
Did you hear tonight's Archers they were looking at a farm and Ruth had
a phone call and say 'OH NO' and sounded shocked there it ended I wonder
is the call about her Mother as they were going to move near her.....
I don't think Elizabeth will get back with Roy she loves her children more.

I'll try and hear it at 2pm tomorrow, Pega.

It sounds a bit drastic moving to a farm oop North, just to be near an elderly mother anyway.
Nowt wrong wi' oop North, lad!
Route B has to be turned down, because the Archers wouldn't be the Archers, without the bally Archers ! Personally I think that David and Ruth should bundle her old Mum into a sack and take her back down the M1 at high speed. Flipping silly storyline ...they haven't really explained how Route B would be so ruinous to the farm in the first place. Lots of farms have roads going through them.

I can't see Roy and Hayley having a reconciliation myself. I'm afraid that Roy has burnt all his boats behind him now. He is like a love sick old dog, fit only for shooting. Wonderful story line though !

I think its time Tom came back from Canada....now that John's son seems to have got his feet firmly under the table, there is endless material for a fight here.

Mind you, I never really liked Tom...arrogant little tit if you ask me. He should have had his a r s e kicked a long time ago.
Oah Noh! (attempt at Ruth's accent, sorry) Route B has got the go-ahead! Now what? I thought this was going to be a red-herring for a real explosion re. Roy and Elizabeth around Xmas. Still time for an appeal though.....

If not, will the Archer family split up over the division of the spoils and David and Ruth be denied the money to buy elsewhere?

Anyone else finding the Helen/Rob storyline hard to take? I was with a control freak and it took every fibre of courage, belief and sheer luck to escape. It is being very well written, whoever is doing it.
Well something's gotta happen with route B. There's no way David, Ruth and Jill are all leaving the programme to go oop North!. I'm hoping Jill will finally say her true feelings and put her foot down, As for Rob I've known he had some hidden dark side, not sure what it is and I'm surprised Helen, who's normally so bolshy and self confident is putting up with this. Yes have also been with a control freak, when you're in it it's not always easy to realise though.

Is Charlie going to make a move on Adam, using the lack of contract as a weapon?
Am I the only person who has never listened to The Archers?

Can't imagine that listening to a radio soap would be of ay interest.
Rarely listen to the radio.
DaisyNonna - do try, there's a world out there!
Yes there is and it is real people, not characters on the radio.
