I am here SECRETLY in case I am spotted on the dreaded Chatterbank!! I have just replied on the other thread but if, in the future, I haven't heard from you for a while I will post on this thread. It's funny I feel I know you loads but I don't really. I wouldn't mind knowing what part of the country you live in if that isn't top secret then I can picture you there.
Question Author
oooooooooo, can't tell you.

Why do you say dreaded chatterbank? It's only the same as answering a question.

Keep it simple, like Hi, how are you, and don't give away any personal details.
He's from Edinburgh but will deny it, and quite rightly :-)
Question Author
Wharton, you are so funny.
I see that you survived your journey around Cape Horn, TheWinner.
Question Author
oh hi stewey, how are you.......
Not bad, thank you. I am preparing, at the present time, to take a short trek across the field...Cheers and I will have a bon voyage:)
stewey - is there really a field between you and the pub or is it a euphemism? If it is a real field isn't it a long haul back when you're drunk as a skunk - are their skunks in Canada?
Question Author
stewey, don't forget to come back.
Love the 'dreaded chatterbank'.................
Wolf63, yes there is a field separating me from the bar; however, it is not a field in the agricultural sense: it is an expanse of land, perhaps 100 yards across, which has been rejuvenated by nature since a factory complex was demolished about 20 years ago. "Drunk as a skunk", never. And yes, we do have skunks here. They're quite colorful chaps, but somewhat odious...Cheers.
Thank you for your help
Good evening from sunny Glasgow TW. I hope the tourists to the Fringe haven't got on your nerves yet :-)
