Please did anyone watch Brat Camp on Tuesday 1st March?  I put in a brand new tape to record it but it stopped after 46 minutes.  I do hope that someone can help me with the last 15 minutes as it was the last programme.

I did watch it - I take it that you are interested in the what happened next bit.

Josh, Xanthe and Alex graduated first.

Josh - off drugs getting on with parents still drinking a bit despite being underage but no more than most teenagers - he and parents very happy.

Xanthe - moved to France with her Mum and stepdad. Had a bit of a slip up getting very drunk practically her first night there but clean since. Has a job and is going out with the local police officer who is very anti drugs. Really happy.

Alex - Got on a course to train as a beauty therapist - hasn't taken drugs since. Mother and her very happy.

Joe, Ed and Jenny graduated next

Joe - Working in his local supermarket and going to college. Seemed a bit ambivalent about the whole thing but his mum was pleased.

Jenny - Getting on a lot better with her parents. Her mum and Dad seemed a lot less stressed. Her follow up was mostly about her going shopping with her mum.

Ed - OK for a week or two then went out with the friends his mum was worried about and started taking drugs again. Back to square 1 at home.

Jemma - Graduated last after her parents wrote to say that she'd be going with them to Singapore and not back to the UK and she had a bad reaction to this. She graduated but managed to have such a massive fight with her Mum before they even got to the airport that they returned her to the camp to begin all over again!

Hope this helps

Lillabet.  You are a star. It's awful when you have watched a series from the start and you miss the last 15 minutes.  Thank a million for bringing me up to date.

No problem, It's nice to be of help.

I really enjoyed this series - makes you scared of being the parent of a teenager though!

Been there, done that lillabet.  My lads are in their 30s now and great lads they are too.  Parents, teachers and police are restricted now in the way children can be punished.  Kids know that they can't be touched.  I am not getting into any big debate but there are no boundaries any more.
