Anyone see this film? Saw it yesterday. Quite moving, and Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush super actors

I think this is the best film I have seen in the last decade

I haven't seen it yet but Geoffrey Rush never seems to get as much praise from the media for his performances as he deserves.
I'm going to see it tomorrow. Geoffrey Rush is a great actor. He was excellent in Elizabeth.
I intend to go to see this film, haven't had the chance yet. George VI seemed to be such a nice person, I always liked him and felt sorry for his predicament.
Steve I am a bit of a Republican, but I did enjoy the film.
You can forget (almost) the royal bit,it's really a story of how an up tight emotionally restricted man learns to release his emotions and be himself.Helped completely by the Geoffrey Rush character.
Also it certainly shows George V and Queen Mary in a spotlight of reality, and you realise why George VI was the way he was.So in that way a family drama too.
one associated joke if you haven't seen it already.....
