I think Amanda was right. What a great opening for the 2012 olympics! Amazing!!
genuinely pleased for them and simon was right, what a brill act for the 2012 oltmpics cos we ainlt got anyone else escept Katherine jenkins and by 2012 she'll be getting on abit lol
Oh please, not her, Dot. I like opera, but her voice grates.
what's the name of the background music behind spellbound's act?
Very well done to Spelbound I say.....they deserved to be in the top three let alone be the winners!!
They were in my top three predictions as well as Kieran , and Twist and Pulse.
Have a look in the earlier BT threads
Not bad ehhhh!!!
have a look in the earlier question Iamcazzy....O fortuna by the composer Carl Orff

I totally agree-they are super fit and focussed and im very proud of them.

BTW -I didnt post my thread the disjointed way it appears-looks mental !!!!!
I thought you were emulating their gymnastics - seriously. I thought it was quite clever thinking.
Just to expand on inhotep's answer, O Fortuna is from the opera Carmina Burana by,as said, Carl Orff.

There were no losers just a worthy winner.
Thank you sddsddean.
I hope Iamcazzy is still around to see our comments.
imhotep, yes I'm still around to see all the comments. Please forgive me for not replying earlier and thanking you all for your kind replies - I was called away to deal with a family crisis!

Thank you all again.
And thank you imhotep for replying to my earlier post elsewhere on AB!
Sounds screwy to me. We couldn't believe Spelbound won. 'phone' votes should be banned and we get back to postal voting like they did in the 70's.
Yes, I'd agree, they were the best, but the best of a fairly poor bunch. I read this morning in the Times that Simon Cowell thinks it was a poor competition this time - 'Cowell is known to be frustrated by the quality of contestants involved in this latest series of the show. '

Also, the number of advert breaks throughout the show drives me mad!
