In the Diner there is a poster that has been masked in post production what was it for and why was it removed . Thankyou in advance

It's a Coca-Cola sign, probably blurred out so the producers wouldn't have to pay for product placement.

Surely it would be Coke that would pay for product placement and if so as the biggest Musical of all time why did they not want to be associated? 
Last time they shown it it was blurred out because someone like pepsi sponsered the ITV2 movie. Maybe they still do.
I think you'll find that it is a poster of the Beatles in Sergeant Pepper gear which is probably 8-10 years after when Grease was set and so would spoil the period mood
