Virgin Fellas

Does anyone remember an Australian sitcom called 'The Virgin Fellas' that was shown on BBC in the early 70s? I think David Croft (of Dad's Army fame) may have co-written it. I remember once my mum switching it off because she thought it was too rude for me to watch. Was she justified (I was about 10 or 11, I think), and if so is it/has it ever been available on video here or in Australia?
