Counter-Terrorism Officers In Universities will not work. These Officers will achieve nothing that the security services cannot already achieve. Just a bit of PR on the Government's part, they have seen a concern, and must be seen to be dealing with it.

The thought of a Police in every Mosque is just mischievous talk. Certainly overkill, certain smacks of a Police State.

The last thing we want is our Police force converting to Islam.

Don't we already have an Association of Muslim Police?
I think it is wider reaching than this, terrorism is here to stay and is on the increase, tightening our borders and not allowing such free travel back and forth to Yemen and Pakistan without being interviewed first, I know that's a huge task but something must be done and soon
why does'nt someone start up an Association of Christian Police in the UK ..I think there would be alot of non christians complaining about that would'nt there.. also the head of police would have something to say.. but theres already The Association of Muslim Police in the UK and nothings said.. Its like the MOBO awards no one says anything..I bet alot would be said if there was a music of white origin award..
sammo,

There is a Christian Police Association

A lot of non christians aren't bothered, and the the head of Police has not had to comment, but then Christianophobia seems to be less prevalent than Islamophobia.
I think they must have informers in Mosques. MI5 are always recruiting from different religions and races. Student study has been the easiest way to get a visa to stay in the country, Also the fact that when they finish their studies (if they existed at all) they can stay on without being expelled from the country. A quadrupling of the numbers allowed in within such a short period has allowed a base of extremists to spread their evil and is now a recruiting ground for extemists.
Is there an association for 'normal' police officers?
When I was university between 1995-98 the campus security went round twice a day removing anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli posters. The posters were being put up by muslims, we watched them do it every day, and called for the end of Israel and death to all Jews, etc.. We ripped down any we saw but they just kept appearing, students were sent down for it.
