Watching the re runs of the series on Virgin 1 I was amazed at how many episodes where missed out.I understand having to edit for that time of day,but the series was so chopped up some of the episodes didnt make sence.Why are compleate episodes missed altogeather,even when last time round they where shown.Any ideas?

There's a chance they were episodes that may have been banned (Or just not shown in our area--UK) and someone somewhere has decided to show them.
That happened with Star Trek.
OR I suppose you could be right and the hectic times of showings probably did result in the very unfortunate loss of some episodes.
(Just a good thing they didn't miss out the Christmas special!)
Virgin 1 loop the first six series of The X-Files and never get as far as series seven!!
