did anyone else think the man from dagenham in wife swop last night .looked extremely comfortable dressed as a woman? their was something extremely feminine about him the way he moved etc...he was trying to assert himself by saying his child was not getting a hamster ..was that a last minute attempt at proving he was a man...that is one marriage that wont last long term... mullein

I think the other bloke had a feminine streak himself-all that preening and grooming. The family who didn't have a lot of spare cash were a lot more genuine and happy than the other lot from what I could see.
The "kept" woman struck me as someone who had the same kind of roots as the other girl, but had forgotten where she came from.My wife thought they were like a couple of characters you would see on the fast Show!!

chaff..i agree to disagree with you the family from dagenham wellafter the show the wife had allready started to slim and do something with that dreadfull hair.the man liked her fat as then no one else would fancy her...if she slimmed down and did herself up she would have been quite presentable..i have done over 5000 clairvoyant readings in my time and i can see behind the exterior..you will see its just a matter of time.....and no i couldnt live with that other man either he spent to much time in the mirrors..anyone would think he was handsome he was a bit over the top..vain is the word..i thought it was a bit childish of that woman from dagenham to dress him in clothes from asda..if you can afford it why not buy quality clothes..i wouldnt be seen dead in asda clothes .and if i was him as stubborn as i am i would have refused to wear them...but he was a good sport ...mullein
i thought him and his son were a bit girly tbh
They were both convinced they were the total opposite of each other. They all seemed identical to me.

My Dad knows Paul the Bodybuilder really well...he did the roofs on our house.  The show (as expected) made them out to be really affluent...Truth is they only live in a bungalow and arent snobby at all, spose the show works better when couples are portrayed as poles apart...Making them drink Champagne and Stuff at the start was well over the top... Still it made for very good viewing...This series is much better than previous ones!!!  and  have to agree...that Dagenham bloke was far to comfortable in his attire for my liking...it made me feel quite sick...in front of his kids aswell...they should be taken into care!!!

So Coffers the kids such be put into care just because their dad likes a joke and dresses up? What kind of madness is this? You really undermine the need for children to be looked after by social services because of serious issues like, oh, I don't know, violence, emotional/mental abuse, neglect etc. You really are narrow-minded arent you.

Calm down Ammy - I don't think Coffers was being 100% serious!

Ammy - is your name really Dave!!!

Dammit, you got me Murthwaite, how did you know...!

Coffers  - they lived in a bungalow?  so were they put in a different house just for the programme?

Particularly loved the choice of phrase from the woman in the red jacket when walking through the neighbourhood of the other woman. "I'm not effing stuck-up or nufink but this effing place is an effing sh!thole." You couldn't make it up.
I thought the Asda clothes looked a lot better than the terrible red jacket and jeans that the Chardonay type woman was wearing.  If they were expensive, then she had been conned?   What's so wrong with Asda clothes.  It's  more often than not the way you way clothes that makes them look expensive or cheap.  The woman in the red jacket would look cheap in whatever she wore!
Yes, I did think the man from Dagenham looked as if he really enjoyed acting and dressing as a woman.  I found him rather creepy, but can't exactly say why.
I thought he was a bit creepy too. And he must have had womens clothes around that were his size too, because his wife was a fair bit larger than him but those clothes he had on fitted him quite well. Weird.
methinx t'was not his first foray into womens' clothing.
