BT rang a friend of mine about a call which appeared to have been made from their landline to a Romanian or Bulgarian mobile phone costing them around 5 which, although they knew nothing about it they still had to pay for!! Since then they keep getting calls, sometimes several a day, which display as 'intranet' or something like that and when answered there is no-one there. All this seems to date shortly after we rang from a phone booth within a shop (internet cafe/ locoterio) in Spain and they wondered whether this was connected. Can anyone shed any light on this??

Thanks, I've passed that on but I'm not sure that it will work . Apparently BT didn't offer any help, just told them that this seems to move around from area to area.

Just a bit worrying.
