Foyles war is currently on ITV, is it a remake of an earlier TV series as it seems familiar?

It's created by Anthony Horowitz and not a remake of anything, but as we all know there's nothing truly new under the sun.

Foyle's War has been around a couple of years now, so if you saw a previous series, this one might seem familiar - they're all new episodes though.
