Ms Goody has made a fortune (and good luck to her) by the crass stupidity of the general public. She shot to fame as a result of winning a mind-numbingly boring TV show which plays on the vanity of the various social misfits, cranks and exhibitionists taking part. I can�t imagine why it is so popular, but there�s no accounting for taste.
Her current situation is tragic and not one I would wish upon anybody. I don�t know who described her as a �National Treasure�, but whoever it was should get out more.

I have recently listened to various radio phone-ins about the tragic circumstances Jade Goody now finds herself in.
It both amazes and disgusts me that that the Guardian reading so called caring liberal left wing, have come out with such disgusting remarks about her.
One person to phone in said 'I hope she hurrys up and dies, the racist bitch'.
This person was not on their own, others seem to think that she should go to hell, just for making a racist remark.
It is frightening to know the lengths some will go to, when it comes to anyone who dares to make a remark that some construe as being in the least bit racist.
I have said many time 'why are the left so nasty'? This is just another example of what I mean.

BTW, not a Goody lover, always considered her a loudmouthed chav, which was further enhanced by meeting her and being on the recieving end of the classic "Do you know who I am?"

Do they get (or want) publicity, do they "sell" their stories to the newspapers and TV.
No they get on with it.

Why on earth people sit down and watch TV programs that show Jordan's (Katire Price) life in all its minute detail is beyond me.
In fact one of the saddest things I saw recently was that Jordan's book (which she probably did not even write) was a best seller.

The publicity given to this Goody saga is disgusting. Whilst purchasing a newspaper from a supermarket yesterday, an elderly gentleman, obviously very aggrieved, seeing the front page news (and picture) of Jade Goody, said, "My daughter is worse off than that". I am not sure if he was directing the remark at anybody in particular. Although the area was quite busy with customers nobody responded but it left me wondering what his situation might have been ... wife or daughter maybe suffering or near death .... minus the benefits which have been accrued by Jade Goody and her new "hubby". �3,500 dress donated by Harrods boss, �1000's still to come, and all because she fell into disrepute. Certainly a good lesson for youngsters these days and what a lovely example of the injustice as displayed in deggers' link. Of course, if AOG's extreme right wing rule, none of us will be permitted to comment.!!! hth
