Can anyone remember a TV Series from 1980 based on the Film 'A Kid for Two Farthings' about a boy who thinks he has a unicorn.

I remember that but as a film from the late 50's-early 60's. I was a kid myself then and Im sure Sophia Loren was in it.

It was a film but I am looking for the name of the 1980 TV Series based on the film.
