What is the most popular track on compilation? I reckon it has to be Your Song by Elton John, with Get Hers by Oleeta Adams, Eternal Flame by The Bangles, or Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me by Elton John in the top 5. It's so annoying that every compilation has at least one of these on it. I don't expect that any of you will actually know the answer, but is there a way of finding out?

Although I can't answer your question have you noticed how many times "Brown eyed Girl" by Van Morrison appears on compelations. I like the record but I must have it on about 8 c.d.s

The thing with comps is - depending on what type of comp it is they run out of songs that a mojority of people know, hence the re hash every few months. You will also notice that all the same genre comps are out at the same time.
