I have just ordered some veggie black pudding, parma ham,and kipper fillets, the cost of the food was only 8 thought thats not bad for quality stuff, when i went to pay the posting cost was 7.10p how can they justify that price???
Yes, it has to be packed very well indeed to meet not only the food hygiene requirements but the carriers requirements as well. They don't want their parcels smelling of kippers.
And it will have to be sent 'next day' delivery as the food could very easily go off if left in a warm place too long.
Usually the more you spend the smaller the percentage cost of delivery.
