i watched Scott get voted off X Factor last Saturday and couldn't stop laughing at him as he stood there, staring at the ground not talking to Dermot the host.
I did! When he said 'Actually there is something I want to say', I expected a rant about how unfair it was that the only reason Daniel stayed in was because of his story. I was waiting for 'I'm sick of people coming on here and getting through because of their dead relations!!! IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!', shouting and crying as he stamped his feet.
Despised? That's a bit harsh and don't think anyone actually thought that about him. At the end of the day, he chose to put himself out there to be judged by millions of people and he shouldn't have done it unless he was prepared to be criticised at some point. I know it must have been hard for him. I couldn't have stood there and taken it on the chin either but then again I haven't put myself in that position.
Must 'our boys' be brought into everything AOG. Whilst I think Scott acted like a petulant child when he lost, there is nothing wrong with men shedding tears. A stiff upper lip isn't necessarily a sign of a true man or a sign of having no pride.
Why would one of 'our boys' (how that term irritate's me) have cried on the X factor anyway? I am sure they have shed a lot of tears over their fate (rightly so).
Just cus servicemen weren't crying on show, doesn't mean Scotts not allowed too. I'm sure the servicemen cried a lot when they lost their limbs, so why shouldn't Scott cry cus he lost his dream. Just cus losses are on a different level doesn't mean he can't cry.
