I noticed that bathsheba, thats why i posted a previous thread, telling abers what is coming up,mind you, thats probably all the decent drama we will get this month!!!
I thought it was an excellent first episode. It's not that hard to follow - just flashbacks to the whodunnit & the events leading up to the child's murder.
But, aren't all the adults just horrible? Can't say I particular like one single one of them (maybe the little girl's radio DJ is ok, otherwise they're all just crap parents.)
I feel sorry for the lad in particular. My children are from a divorced family (x2) - but I would never have treated them or spoke to them like these parents did.
I feel same as bathsheba and puddicat here - 2 programmes worth watching for a change and both in the same week!
I thought the adults here were pretty awful too - they seem so wrapped up in their own worlds and concentrating on what they needed that the children seem to be getting sidelined. I divorced when my boys were 14 & 9 but they were never treated like that. The poor lad in the programme seems to be unwanted everywhere and no-one has the time to listen to him
I know it's only tv, but I could have cried when that young lad cried on his bed towards the end. Counldn't help but think of my son... hope he never cried like that when he was on his own. I certainly never gave me reason to like that old cow of a mother & selfish father.
