I phoned the RSPCA this afternoon enquiring about a dog I can give a home to.
I want a smallish dog who doesn't need a lot o exercise/ walks etc, but not as small as a Yorkie.

Any suggestions?

You'll be lucky to pick and choose your pedigree from a rescue centre.
What's wrong with a mongrel, mix breed or unbranded four legged friend.
There was an earlier post today about a neglected jack russell.....an Aber was concerned for its welfare. Get in touch with them and adopt the dog.

JR sounds perfect for u.

I didn't say I wanted a pedigree, just said a smal dog.

Found it terambulan, but no idea where it was and maybe its back with its owners, but thanks anyway.
Jack Russells are terriers and need an awful lot of exercise.

Thanks Ethel & luxury,

Very helpful advice.

I just want a dog for a companion. I have a medium sized garden and I liked the look of the Dandi Terrier, very cute and the s h i t z u are nice too

Will let you know how I got on at the rescue centre.
That's a good little quiz. I'm interested in getting a dog, and it recommended Cocker-Westie or Schnoodle for me.
