Does anyone know what has happened to DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES?

I have checked the Radio Times and it's not on C4 for the next 2 weeks at least..

What's going on there then? The new series hasn't been on long - why take a break now? Don't the programme planners mess about!?

they are taking a break over summer. i think its because of big brother (but i love big brother anyway lol)

Its usually on at the same time as BB.
I watch BB then Desperate Housewives straight after, so I don't understand what C4 are doing.

it had something to do with the writers strike in america too

That break is indeed where the writers' strike kicked in. BUT we've seen the full series here in Ireland so there's no excuse - the strike only affected it for about a fortnight some months back.

yeh the series was on RTE but i dont get a goos signal up here in the north of ireland so i wanted for c4.. to my disbelief is not on anymore!
im glad u feel my pain! lol
