Is the Doctor Who platform ready made for an actor of David Bowie's ability. methinks yes. And it will be, without a shadow of doubt, the greatest episodes ever in the Doctor Who canon.

Errrrrrrr no. I read this and The sun was the only link. Good grief!!
Bowie's ability as an actor would be better served by Emmerdale. In other words, what ability?
Apparently this has all been denied by Bowies "people", he was asked to appear in 1983 but not since
Question Author
Chazza, where did you hear that news? I know he was approached by Eon Productions to play Max Zorin in "A View to a Kill", but the part later went to Christopher Walken after Bowie was too committed with a world tour.
The bbc were reporting a strong denial last night - sky were still carrying the sun story.
David Bowie is not planning to star in Dr Who and the whole story is "absolute tish and tosh".

Apparently.
