I need to buy some rechargeable AAA batteries. Can anyone tell me which makes are good and which ones aren't? What mAh rating should i aim for as a minimum? Thanks.

See my reply to Wendilla, posted this afternoon.Go for the highest capacity you can afford, aside from the drawback of a longer time charging ,you won't need to change them so often

Thanks, it sounds like they don't last very long though?
Depends how you use them, best to run as low as possible before recharge, advantage of the maxE and Hybrio is they hold charge between uses, normal NiMH tend to self discharge over several days, whether you use them or not,so you end up recharging more frequently and the more charges the quicker they eventually pack up
