Definitely - I can't claim to find slapstick humour as fuuny as I must have done back then, but for old times' sake I'll be watching. Judging by the trailer, Sally James has hardly changed at all, which is good news for those of us who were adolescent males at the time!

I quite enjoyed the one-off Swap Shop reunion on BBC4 recently, although the obvious tension between Keith Chegwin and Maggie Philbin was a bit uncomfortable. I have to say that for all his faults, Noel Edmonds was a much better Saturday morning presenter than Mike frickin' Read.
ME !!! :o) Loved it !!!
I'll definitely be watching it. I'm 31 so the late 70's was really a blur but the 80's were happy times for me, so loved the recent swap shop programme!

Think my dad will be watching too as he and Sally James were an item for a bit in the 60's in North London, or so he tells me!
i loved tiswas!!!!! loved the phantom flan flinger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is what we want!!!!!!!!
I'm afraid I can't! I will be glued to BBC1 all night when it is on. I would like to see it just to see what Tiswas was like!
Apart from Casualty (But I shall be watching confidential then anyway!) And the people's quiz! Everything else on BBC that night I want to watch. Maybe I should get out a bit more.
I'll record it and watch it later.

Be interesting to see how well it holds up after all these years, remember it as mad, funny and anarchic, hope my memories of it as a kiddie is not just based on giddy nostalgia.
saturday, saturday, saturday is tiswas day...

I can't wait to see Sally James again - phwaaarrrh!

But let's face it - Lenny Henry is as funny as a dose of flu.
OOoh!!!

Do you think they'll bring back OTT too?

Watched it and enjoyed it. It made me realise how far todays TV has sunk.

With his over exposure on Who wants to be a millionaire, I have come to detest Chris Tarrent, but he was really good back then.

The same goes for Lenny Henry, before he was forever telling us, he was black and his constant rantings about his roots, slavery and the whites, he was talented and funny.

But bring back Bob Carolgees and his Spit the Dog and Charlie the Monkey, absolutely fantastic.
