Anyone see this last night? The music was great: I heard New Order's 'Age Of Consent' and some other things. The two things I want to find out the name of are 1) a gorgeous, lush, Velvet Underground type track 2) a Kraftwerk-y bleeping 80s type track. Both of them came around at least twice. Have googled, but no luck.
Is there a good site for finding out TV music? I've seen the ones for ads, but not one for incidental music.

I'm pretty certain much of the music was written by Bernard Herrmann for Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 film Vertigo.

Herrmann was also considered a 'serious' composer by Hollywood standards so he arranged most of the music into an orchestral suite. What was used on the programme was part of the 'romantic' theme.
Further to my answer above, a note of caution: the Vertigo music was certainly used for the 18 March episode, and I'm pretty sure it was also used for some of the 11 March episode.

However the 25 March episode used completely different music (sorry, unable to help you there).

Hope this helps.
