Alias Smith and Jones because it was brilliant and I can watch it and feel it still works.

Dot!!....Those pics will send me to bed happy!! Thanx so much xx
Without any shadow of a doubt..................Auf wiedersen Pet. The first two series are just pure gold, and the third was good as well, but should have stopped after that.

Same as flip flop- lol - glad you posted that re spelling of it!
When the boat comes in , gritty stuff!
M*A*S*H - it's got humour, tragedy, sadness, and uplifting moments. Fantastic.
I loved Inspector Morse. The plots were excellent and the incidental music was fantastic. John Thaw and Kevin Whately were both great actors too.
i have to say friends i know alot of folk dont like it and think its just canned laughter but its one of the few shows where i can sit and watch it over and over again ! i was so sad when it ended .
The Sopranos, because it has the finest writing, the finest acting, the finest cast, the finest costumes, the finest music and the finest everything else of any TV series ever.
...shameless...utterly superb...funny but also very touching at times...

...lost...fan- bloomin-tastic.... the only american series I have ever been able to get in to....
...oh and the office..... funny because it's so true, everyone knows a David Brent or a Gareth....
Stargate SG1, because of the action, the acting, the attention it pays to its own continuity, the humour, and a show with over 200 episodes has to be good
Too many to mention!

I agree with 'Auf Wiedersen'~ I regularly watch my videos :o)
'This Life' ~ because it was fresh & new, and addictive.
'Life On Mars' ~ as above. I can't wait for the new series!
'Bread' ~ very funny, & poignant in parts.
'Friends' ~ don't like admitting it...very entertaining!
'The Mary Whitehouse Experience' ~ pure class.
dont forget spaced with the hilarious simon pegg!!
The Paper Chase, an American series from 1978 - 1983
see here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paper_Chase - about Harvard Law students. Starring the great John Houseman and based on the 1973 film of the same name in which he reprised his role as Professor Kingsfield. He gives a masterclass in acting and I sincerely hope that one day this fantastic series will be repeated so that a whole new generation can see for themselves how good it was.
Gotta be the West Wing - half the time I don't even know what they're talking about but they don't dumb down and explain everything.
loads, tough question but probably:
Blackadder, Frasier, Shameless, Early Doors, Sopranos, Scrubs, Simpsons
