all these questions about old tv shows are really making me feel old, but does anybody remember stig of the dump i used to love that prog and im sure im not the only fan i think it was late 70s or early 80s

hi there mrstrunchbul,i used to love that program myself i used to rush home from school to watch it ive still got the book and wont part with it
It was dramatised very well in 2002 and shown on BBC in the Sunday teatime slot:

i didnt know that they made another i would of loved to see that i also had the book but i cant remember what happened to it
My favourite book as a child. I remember our teacher used to read it to us and had us in fits of laughter when he impersonated the Snargets. Happy memories!

hahahahaha thats great gaza47 i forgot all about the telling bone, another memory is that i searched all over my nieghbourhood to find a decent cave so i could leave home and live in it.
Cant remember who played him but i really fancied 'stig'!
I thought telling bone was one of Catweazles sayings! Along with electrickery.
