loved|" the singing ringing tree", "the flashing blade" and the magic roundabout...

rent a ghost ,have to say did my head in!!!.. and the "why don't you switch of the tv and do something better instead one.".. not sure if thats the name though?
ashamed to say it as i seen it recently and its pants but mine was "rainbow"
champion the wonderhorse was fantastic and so was land of the giants, (showing my age now).
rent-a-ghost (also)
Knightmare
the worst one by far for me was grange hill and blue peter
Marmalade Atkins, Round the twist, and that thing with Greenfingers in with that stupid owl in the tree. Ha ha and Orm and Cheep :-)
When I was about 12 my absolute favourite was "The six million dollar man", Lee Majors, brilliant. Some of the catch phrases can still be heard today.

"We can rebuild him", "we have the technology to make the worlds first bionic man, Steve Austin will be that man" da da da da, dada da da dadadadada, "better than he was before, faster, stronger......"

Brilliant!
i used to love chocky, anyone else remember that? never really liked blue peter.
I loved Monkey! Monkey magic... monkey magic....!
Errr. We didn`t have a tv `till I was about 6 ( 1959). I remember The 5 o`clock club which I loved. The good thing then was that kids progs were only on for 15 miutes at about 2pm for Watch with mother & then we had about an hour from 5pm. Parents spent more time with kids instead of plonking them in front of tv/video/dvd. I`m not knocking todays parents, but that`s how it was.
Rent a ghost, the Children of the Stones, the Ghosts of Motley Hall, HR Pufnstuf, Playschool, and Sesame Street - all greats.
OOh - and Into the Labyrinth, and Sapphire and Steel, and the New Avengers

Now you've got me started...!
And the Six Million Dollar Man!

Also Runaround and Crackerjack!!!!!!
See, now I've ad to go to Play.com and I've bought teh series of the Ghosts of Motley Hall, Children of teh Stones, and HR Pufnstuf. Sickened I couldn't get Sapphire & Steel
was watching the'100 greatest children programmes' the other month....

My boyfriend and my brothers Ex girlfriend knew all of them, were singing along to all the tunes.. and i was sitting there thinking... "never heard of it...., never seen that, what the hell is?"....

Starting to think i was extremely deprived as a child.
I loved Knightmare, Jossies Giants, Johnny Briggs and Grange Hill - could still watch them now !
Knightmare!!! Thats one i DID remember and still do very clearly!!

is that the one where the kids have to do this sort of adventure through some scary place blindfolded and his/her friends would have to direct him!?
That used to really scare me!!

Did anyone used to watch the DJ Kat show??
A few of the programmes that i loved when growing up was:
fraggle rock, out of this world, grange hill, byker grove and heartbreak high.
I also remember watching a programme during the summer holidays about a girl (might have been called Alex??) who lived with her mum, dad & sister & had a best friend called Ray (i think!) she used to have special powers because of some radioactive stuff that spilt on her!? can anyone remember the name of this!???
& i also used to My So Called Life with Jared Leto!
red hand gand, rentaghost, grange hill, playschool, he-man, moomins, flumps, wombles, totally forgot about marmalde atkins but loved it, battle of the planets
button moon!!!!! great stuff
lmao @ nat_84, it used to scare me too! I used to be shouting directions to the screen.

I also used to watch button moon, ragdolls & pollyanna!
