Would anyone out there know if they intend to kill off Alice in Emmerdale as she seems to be getting worse instead of better.?

I understand, from a spoiler I've read somewhere, that Alice will find out shortly that the treatment will prolong her life but not cure her cancer, and she will consider giving up the treatment.
