Originally the song was from Gigi,sung by Maurice Chevalier and ( I think) Hermione Bradley,but check IMDB.

it was used, with changed words, to advertise a brand of film. the boy/girl singing the song had different film, or processing, meaning that the boy's photo colours went a bit wrong - or something like that......
