Hi in 1985 Blue peter held an lend an ear appeal. They came to my school i was 6 at the time and filmed myself and friends helping the deaf children at school. I remember it was shown on 14 November as i was my brothers birthday. Does anyone know how i can get hold of a copy of the footage? It would be great to show my kids and look back

blue peter is made in bbc, white city in london. you could try there, they may still have archive footage or at least details of where it is
Luckily, if you've contributed to a BBC programme, getting a copy is quite easy. Just email [email protected] with the details you've given us.

(Before anyone else tries to get programmes out of the Beeb, this service is for people who've been on screen or part of the crew ONLY, so don't even think about it.)
I wanted an old episode of Big Breakfast once and it was gonna cost me 50.00 just for the one show!!
