does anyone know if i can get barney miller on dvd or vid? does anyone even remember barney miller? god i used to love that programme.

That was a really good series. Very laid back humour, nice acting, nice atmosphere all round. Wouldn't mind seeing that again. The best old series never seem to get shown, the less good ones are repeated endlessly. Dunno why that is...

A good series all right, and one of the shows that informed the likes of Hill Street Blues and Homicide. I felt it relied too much on the main character's deadpan reactions whenever anyone said anything stupid - much as The Golden Girls did. Barney Miller spawned a short lived sitcom sequel, Fish.

Barney Miller is my all time favorite tv show and i have at least 20 vcr tapes packed with wojo, fish, harris and the gang. try tbs, hallmark, tnt and usa. their tv guides are online.
