i always thought he said

chomp pal...my band in there.

Uncle Peter said "woof dog bark" and "donkey" a lot, for some reason. It was a different character who came on demanding "booze for t'baby" - don't know the character's name, but it definitely wasn't Uncle Peter. I'm afraid Junior's right on this one :-)
uncle peter did say 'dont give booze t'baby' but there was another guy who held the baby asking for the opposite.
There was a young guy in mac and cap, giving a baby booze but not really saying anything. I don't know what his name was but it was Charlie Chuck, aka Uncle Peter who was the 'woof bark' man in The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer.http://www.chortle.co.uk/comics/comics.html?http&&am p;&www.chortle.co.uk/comics/cchuck.html
mattk is right-another character asked for booze for t'baby and UNCLE PETE replaied 'you can't give booze to a baby'
