Definitely grounded the ball after it slid off the boot

I do understand that the on-field decision has to be 100% disproven to be overturned by the TMO, but still... 

I thought it impossible to say, but I'm no expert. 
would have been a great result for Scotland.

If the topic was "6 Nations - France beats Scotland", that would be different ...

Had the on field decision been a try rather than it being held up, the try would have been awarded as it wouldn't have been conclusive it was held up.
